The CB "Herringbone" in Cocobolo

Chris recently built this Herringbone for a discriminating client who desired the finest Dreadnought available. The combination of Adirondack (Red) Spruce top and beautifully-figured Cocobolo back & sides resulted in an exceptionally responsive (and visually stunning) instrument.

Top Binding: Grained ivoroid with "Herringbone" purfling.

Back & Sides: Figured Cocobolo with "Zig-Zag" back strip.

Back Binding: Multiple grained ivoroid.

Neck: Mahogany with diamond volute, "Rose" inlay on heel cap.

Peghead: Bound with Striped Macassar Ebony or Black Ebony overlay & Chris' trademark "Rose" inlay of contrasting woods.

Tuning Machines: Nickel-plated Waverly vintage-style open-back with "butterbean" buttons.

Fretboard: Ebony with Chris' trademark "Rose" inlay.

Bridge: Ebony with Chris' trademark "Rose" inlay.
