The CB "Herringbone" in Select Grade Indian Rosewood

Chris built this Herringbone for a customer who wanted the deep, rich sound of Indian Rosewood along with the distinction of a 1940s-style Sunburst finish. Chris' selection of a superb set of Indian Rosewood with straight, even grain and perfect coloration only adds to the effect. We think you will agree that this is a stunning variation on the Herringbone design.

Top: Sitka spruce, tap-tuned with hand-scalloped braces.

Top Finish: 40s-Style Vintage Sunburst.

Top Binding: Grained ivoroid with "Herringbone" purfling.

Back & Sides: Select-grade Indian Rosewood with "Zig-Zag" back strip.

Back Binding: Multiple grained ivoroid.

Neck: Mahogany with diamond volute, "Rose" inlay on heel cap.

Peghead: Bound with black overlay & Chris' trademark "Rose" inlay of contrasting woods.

Tuning Machines: Nickel-plated Grover vintage-style open-back with "butterbean" buttons.

Fretboard: Ebony with Chris' trademark "Rose" inlay.

Bridge: Ebony with Chris' trademark "Rose" inlay.
