| CB "Model J" with Cocobolo Peghead OverlayThe CB "Model J" guitar is Chris' interpretation of the classic "round-shouldered" Dreadnought guitar of the 1930s. The deep, rich bass offered by the larger body cavity of the round-shouldered Dreadnought makes for a very well-balanced sound, with clear, strong treble and rich overtones. Following the lead of the CB Vintage 'Bone, Chris developed a new bookmatched Cocobolo peghead overlay for his "Classic" peghead shape. The dramatically-figured wood adds an air of elegance for those seeking a simpler aesthetic. Click this link for sound samples of CB instruments. (click pictures for larger version)
