Finish has yet to be buffed out to the final polish; Chris will let the lacquer completely cure before final polishing and fitting of the neck and bridge.

The hook-eye bolt protruding from the end of the neck dovetail is used to handle the neck during finishing and hang the neck during curing, and will be removed before final assembly. The masking on the dovetail and the underside of the fingerboard can be seen. Note the exceptional figure of the Mahogany neck, enhanced by the finish.
